David has wide experience of property
development acting for both private developers and housing associations encompassing
acquisitions and disposals on both freehold and leasehold bases for varying purposes such
as residential development and commercial units. He also deals with ancillary development
documentation such as road and utility service agreements.
In addition David is involved in work relating to mines and minerals
such as the granting and taking of mining leases and sales of incidental mineral interests
as manorial rights.
He graduated in law from Manchester University in
1983 and took his Law Society Finals at Chester College of Law. David spent many years
working in the property department of a major Birmingham law firm before leaving to be an
associate with a firm based in Staffordshire.
David joined the property development unit of the KJD
property department in 1997. He was promoted to associate in October
2000 and to partner in July2005.
