Roderick
specialises in employment and pension law.
He also has considerable experience in banking, finance,
security and company law.
He
has a working command of the French and German languages, and has
lectured at the Université du Panthéon
(Paris) in French on Sociétés Unipersonnelles Britanniques and to
German local and national law societies in German on English
employment and general business law.
Roderick
has written articles and precedents in The New Law Journal from 1970,
and is editor (and author of much of the contents) of Kelly’s
Draftsman 13th edition 1973 to the 18th edition 1998.
He is also a contributor of precedents to the Encyclopaedia of
Forms and Precedents 5th edition volume 11 - Companies (1992), volume
14 - Employment (1994), volume 31 – Pensions (1999), volume 36 -
Sale of Land (1990) and the loose leaf supplement (ongoing).
A
graduate in Economics from the London School of Economics, Roderick
joined KJD as a solicitor in 1972 and became a partner in 1975. He
retired from the partnership in 1996 but continues an active
consultancy role.
